Vysehrad used to be the king's castle for a short period of time in the 11th century. Now it holds a beautiful basilica, a beautiful cemetery where famous Czech artists, writers, scientists etc. are buried. It's an amazing and peaceful park overlooking the river and with a great view of the city and the castle. It's perfect for a picnic or for just walking around for an hour or two.

It's an amazing and peaceful park overlooking the river and with a great view of the city and the castle. It's perfect for a picnic or for just walking around for an hour or two.
Huge park in English style. You can easily spend several hours here and enjoy the greenery. Lots of nice bars and cafes in the neighborhood.
