Food scene
A visit to Hofer's Bakery is a must on your visit to Helen! You can either get something from their pastry counter "to go," or you can eat at their sit-down restaurant. Both are great options, but do be aware that the restaurant doesn't do the typical "take your name and call you" thing like most restaurants. You stand in line and wait until a table opens up; they move people through pretty quickly, but if it's a busy time of year, you may want to arrive early!

This is a great park to visit with the kids! Turn on White Strasse, next to Hofer's Bakery and Café, and there is a parking lot on the right side of the road with free parking.
