Bushwick is a local gem for small indie cafes, artisanal coffee, theatre (Syndicated), street murals by local artists, restaurants (famous Roberta's pizza, Ichiran Brooklyn, etc.), vegan food and vintage thrift stores. It is also a predominantly latino community so expect the real deal mouth-watering Spanish food - La Lupe is my personal go-to night spot for tacos and drinks.
