You can simply just come for the day to chill and take in the amazing views of the East Coast. Take along a picnic and chill. Another one of my favourite eating places, especially to link n lime with friends. It's a bar and grill and the food is great!!!! Two of my favourite dishes, is the Pork Loin, wrapped in bacon, with mash potatoes, local vegetables and an onion gravy!! The other is the Lamb Burger!! although I say all the burgers are homemade and delicious. Great Cocktails too and they have drinks specials on different nights. Eat in or outside. This is my favourite local Rum Shop. It's a great place to lime and great value on drinks and food. Open all week, Sunday closed. Sells great food for lunch and dinner like fried fish, pork n chicken, barbecue ribs, barbecue pig tails, rice, chips, pie etc etc. Eat there or takeaway. Music through week with sometimes a DJ and karaoke. Kermitt's is less than 5mins away by car or a 15/20 min walk.

A lovely fishing village in St.John. A popular place to go on a Thursday! Tourists n locals!! Food is great!! but get there early cos there could be a long wait for food! My favourite n what I recommend is the Snapper!! Delicious!

The Dreadhop Brewing is a great place to visit. it's only a 10min walk from the apartment. It has locally brewed beer made here in Barbados. They also have different theme nights and food. Dogs also welcome. Check them out on Instagram for food and drinkspecials and theme nights.

Try their peanut punch and homemade delicious rum punch too!!! There's a smaller side to beach on the other side. Have to go down few steps, but the water is much calmer here and ideal for children. The snack van is still reachable by just a few footsteps away.

There are no facilities here, toilets etc...and I wouldn't recommend swimming here. Most people don't stay long and sometimes you may be the only people here. There's no shade, so it can be very hot. The view from the clifftop is amazing and once on the beach too. You can drive and park at the top where there is persons selling jewellery and coconut rum . ***please note the steps down to beach are steep.

If you fancy taking a Catamaran, then try these guys above! I have cruised with Jammin a few times now, with family and friends and every time it's been great! Such good fun and all the crew members are brilliant and very attentive. Once boarding you have snacks, then a beautiful buffet lunch and a well stocked drinks bar throughout. You will see shipwreck, swim with the turtles and enjoy the view of the coast. Good music and we were entertained by the crew with a wuk up dance off and the guests were free to join in too! Here you can purchase duty free items, clothes, jewellery, perfumes, souvenirs etc. ***you can also purchase Alcohol, Tobacco and Cigarettes here...these items are delivered to the airport where you will collect on departure from the island. ***Please note if buying Duty Free anywhere on the island, you must have your Passport and Boarding Pass. Also, at the back of Broad Street, is SWAN STREET. Here there are lots of other local stores and market stalls.
