This is a cool place and one of my favorite bars in Zagreb! They usually have live jazz concerts and the whole place is quite original! The owner restores old furniture and is very creative in his designs, so the whole place is like an artistic installation with good & chilled vibes! If you like casual places with cool music and great choice of drinks, this is a place for you :) In summertime it's really nice to chill out on their big terrace in the most popular street in Zagreb yet surrounded with trees.
NOTE: It's currently being decorated and should be open from 1st July 2016. Fingers crossed!

There are two open air markets in the neighborhood but you can also check out the biggest one right next to the main square - Dolac! Fresh veggies, fruit, seeds, fresh cheese, honey, etc…very nice!

In this street, there are several cool places to check out. Booksa - a place to read and have tea or coffee, Program - very artsy coffee place, Fetiš is a non-smoking cafe with healthy snacks, Mojo - drinks and live music! There is also a nice thrift shop Bazar if that's your thing.

Sightseeing
This is the main square of Zagreb and a great meeting point! From there you can check out different sights, cool streets, shops and bars. Definitely check out Vip club on that square with live music!

This is our only cathedral in Zagreb and it's simply beautiful! :D
Note: Be sure to cover your shoulders and wear a long skirt or trousers cause they are quite strict on what you wear entering the cathedral.

Very cool museum worth checking out! The exhibit contains items from various break-ups, whether it's related to romantic or family relationships. There are funny ones but also very sad ones...I believe you'll need a drink afterwards :/ but it's a very original display you may not find anywhere else!

If you like hiking you can check out our small mountain Medvednica! You get there by trams no. 14 and 15 then start climbing! You can reach the top within 2h of easy walking, but you may also choose stops before the top if you don't want to go all the way up. There are amazing views of Zagreb from the mountain, lovely mountain houses where you can try traditional local meals in the nature, natural springs where you can drink pure water on the way up, and just stunning natural views... :) Just pick a trail of choice and enjoy the hike!

If you like hiking you can check out our small mountain Medvednica! You get there by trams no. 14 and 15 then start climbing! There are amazing views of Zagreb from the mountain, lovely mountain houses where you can try traditional local meals in the nature, natural springs where you can drink pure water on the way up, and just stunning natural views... :) Just pick a trail of choice and enjoy the hike!
On a hot summer day in the city the best thing to cool down is to have a swim in the lake Jarun! It's really refreshing, there is a nice beach with cafes and restaurants to chill out, or kayaks, beach volley and cycling tracks if you want to get active!
