Amazing place and great for kids! Even my 8 month old loved it! You can tell they take great care of all the fish and creatures there very well. The sharks were amazing. And you can feed manta rays, for 5 bucks you get two fish. Just be careful because once you feed one the rest will see it and they will swarm you and splash. Great time for the family. #318-383-0601

Very beautiful theatre. The architecture and decor is absolutely stunning, especially the chandeliers and balconies. I went here for the 2018 Christmas symphony and thoroughly enjoyed the show. The sound quality and the view was great, even if you sat in the back. The chairs could do with some padding on the arm rests, just to make extended shows more comfortable to sit during. Overall, the theatre is great.

You might want to consider an umbrella or parasol if you go late in thr day the direct sun in Louisiana can be a beast. There are many lovely statues and hundreds of rose varietals. There are also several benches in the shade. If you love roses the American Rose Center is the place to see them... See them early before it is 100+ degrees out.
