Interesting museum with a good children's section, toys etc and a good garden. Near to Launceston Castle. I think it is free entry but might be worth checking.

One of our favourite beaches, beautiful rugged cliffs protect this secluded bay. Find the footpath up the headland to the right of the beach, enjoy the views and either do a circular cliff path walk or decent back down to the bay and have a cream tea in The Cabin cafe.
Look out for the little car park on your right before you get to the beach, generally quieter and an honesty box rather than pay and display.

One of our favourite beaches, beautiful rugged cliffs protect this secluded bay. Find the footpath up the headland to the right of the beach, enjoy the views and either do a circular cliff path walk or decent back down to the bay and have a cream tea in The Cabin cafe.
Look out for the little car park on your right before you get to the beach, generally quieter and an honesty box rather than pay and display.
Generally quieter, slightly off the beaten track beach but still beautiful. Visit Margaret's caravan up the lane leading inland for refreshments and banter! Check the tide times and walk along the beach to/ from Bude or Sandymouth Bay and walk back along the cliff path for an easy child friendly hike.

Roadford Lake
Should be a quieter option than the coast during the summer.
Follow the river through the woodland until you reach the coast path. Relatively easy walk there and back or continue on the coast path into Boscastle. It works well to check bus times and get a lift back to the car.

Bossinney Bay, a beautiful secluded beach- quite a long walk down and up through the countryside. Check tide times as there is no beach at high tide.
