This place is like nothing else you will ever experience. Fresh, flavourful fusion - from New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific Islands - it has something for everyone. The cocktails are also exquisite and garnished with beautiful local fruit and flowers.

With so much history, this destination is a picturesque representation of Queenstown in a idilic setting. Ayrburn Farm was originally established as one of the first farms in the area not long after W.G Rees settled in the district in 1860 and gold was discovered in the Shotover River in 1862. Paterson connected his slice of New Zealand land with his Scottish heritage, naming it after the town ‘Ayr’ where he was born in West Kilbride Scotland, with ‘burn’ being the Scottish word for stream, as a nod to Mill Creek that runs through the property. The old farm buildings are the main attractions of Ayrburn. The woolshed, stables, cart shed and dairy have all been rebuilt to showcase their heritage features and are architectural beauties that are a must-see. Ayrburn delivers a food and wine experience for the entire family to enjoy. There is a small playground and various lawn areas for children, along with open fires and a beautiful wine tasting and tapas for the grown ups. This is a must-visit when here in Queenstown.

A drink in the sun, or by the open fire at Jacks Point Clubhouse

The clubhouse at Jacks Point is not exclusive to the golf course, everyone is welcome. They have great outdoor seating areas that open onto a lawn and the lake - or snuggle up by one of the many open fires with a glass of local wine and a cheese platter. https://www.jackspoint.com/restaurant
