The special on Monday night is their hamburgers. Worth a visit. They are known for their great steaks, but they can be a little pricey. Salads are really good, too. It is a bit of a drive out Chapman Highway to get there.

It is a little touristy, but it is still fun to walk around the main strip and wade in the creeks off the beaten path. We usually get some taffy logs from the Ole Smokey Candy Kitchen.

North Knoxville has some historic areas like 4th and Gill, North Hills, Happy Holler. Generally, it is easy to navigate with 2-way main streets with side streets. I-40 runs through it, so it is easy to get places in Knoxville reasonably fast.
