Fitness
If you want a work out, this is not for the faint of heart! An average fit person can make it to the top in one hour. There is a halfway point exit you can take if you decide you can't make it to the top. My best time was 27 minutes, but that was years ago! lol

A really neat place to ride mountain bikes and access the infamous Dixon Trail. I helped build the Dixon Trail in the fall of 2018. It takes an average person about 5-6 hours (round-trip) to hike. Similar to to the Manitou Incline, this is a pretty tough hike, so you will need to plan ahead before attempting.
Some interesting history: On Oct. 12, 1957, a T-33 training plane attempting an instrument landing at Peterson Airfield slammed into the southern shoulder of Cheyenne Mountain. Ruins of the plane are are still present...unfortunately the two pilots did not survive.
