From their website: "Their perspectives on food are modernist, and are at the forefront of sustainability. Their food is ingredient focused, complex, technical, and extremely beautiful." Expensive and NOT a kid-friendly restaurant. Also expect artful, but small, portions.

The music is GREAT though, featuring nationally touring groups in the Jazz, Americana, Soul and Rhythm and Blues bands with a splash of Hip Hop too. The scene is always fun/loud and children are welcome.

Don't want to drop hundreds of dollars per person on a meal? "The Living Room" is option #2 where you can hang out around one of three stone fireplaces on the main floor looking out onto the slopes (or sit at the Highland's Bar). Option #3: The Backyard Bar and BBQ is a year-round, ski-in/ski-out patio (complete with ample outdoor fire pits) also offers wood-fired pizzas, burgers, bratwursts, saloon-inspired cocktails and local craft beers. Super kid/dog friendly. You do NOT need to be a guest to visit these establishments, but if you drive there, be prepared to pay their steep valet fee (discounted if you dine there).

Excellent coffee (they roast their own!), cool environment, gluten-free and glutenous baked goods and salads. Good grab-n-go but also lovely to hang out too. There's another location at the other end of town too!
