For a lovely stroll amongst 100 year old plataintrees, a really nice lake with ice skating in the winter, a castle museum of agriculture and history (Vajdahunyad), one of the iconic restaurtants of BP (Gundel), the zoo and amusement park, this is a really nice place to spend a day with kids, about 10 minutes by trolibus from the Dohany u. station behing the house.

For a lovely stroll amongst 100 year old plataintrees, a really nice lake with ice skating in the winter, a castle museum of agriculture and history (Vajdahunyad), one of the iconic restaurtants of BP (Gundel), the zoo and amusement park, this is a really nice place to spend a day with kids, about 10 minutes by trolibus from the Dohany u. station behing the house.
A really nice stroll up the Gellért hill, 20 minutes walk or 3 bus stops from the apartment (get off right after the danube by bus 7), this hill gives amazing views of the Danube and Pest side, as well as a relaxing forest atmosphere. The Philosophers garden is not so easy to find, you will have to walk up from the Gellért statue, and circle the hill from the castle side, and perhaps ask locals.
