The food scene in Menard is expanding!
Check out Summerland Public House for a family friendly spot with delicious pub grub, soup specials, house made bagels, draught beers, live music (on the weekends) and games to enjoy with friends and family. Their smash burger is a local favorite. House roasted coffee beans can be purchased! Open Thursday-Saturday 10-10 and Sunday 10-7.
Texas Scratch Kitchen is an amazing bakery and market featuring French style pastries, naan wraps, croissant sandwiches, and salads with a full coffee and tea menu. Open Tuesday-Thursday 6am-2pm and Friday 6-6.
Lazy Ladle serves burgers, sandwiches and soups. Open Mon 11-7:30, Tue-Thur 11-2, Fri 8-8, Sat 8-2 and Sun 8:30-2.
Ojedas and Los Abuelos are restaurant rivals serving tex mex. I haven't eaten at either in a couple years, but they stay busy.

Enchanted Rock offers hikes for most ability levels and has over 200 rock climbing routes including bouldering, sport, and trad climbs. Great views from the top of the dome. Also a good place to bird watch.
