There is so much to see and do in and around the Malvern Hills. Here are my top tips
Eastnor Castle is set in 5000 acres of parkland and located just a few miles away. A private residence that is open to the public for a number of events throughout the year. Attractions include castle tours, arbetorium, Knight’s Maze, adventure playground, junior assault course and lakeside walks. Events include the very popular Chillifest, Eldorado festival and fireworks championships. There are also many great family days out from Easter until the end of October.

Lovely place to visit. Take a tour of the mill and see how our famous Herefordshire Cider is produced and then visit the Scrumpy House Restaurant or tea rooms for a bite to eat. There is also a good play park for the children.

Great day out for families with younger children. There’s a great indoor and outdoor play area, tractor rides and a chance to feed the animals and get some hands on pet time. Open from April to September.

If you fancy a day of R&R, Malvern spa is a great place to unwind. The Malvern was built in 2008, the first spa to be constructed in Malvern since 1910. It boasts a unique 35°c 20 meter, indoor-outdoor hydrotherapy pool featuring vigorous bubble massage stations, powerful water jets, gentle hydrotherapy beds, and spacious relaxing booths. There are many treatments. On offer, a nice restaurant and poolside service.

There are many treatments. On offer, a nice restaurant and poolside service.
Pubs
There are a number of good pubs in the local area. Most serve quality ales. Our favourite night out is Ledbury. It has a a number of old timber frame pubs close to each other in the town centre. Be warned, there is no taxi rank, so either pre-book a taxi home, or jump on the last train home). Pubs that I'd recommend, but aren't listed on this directory are The Chase Inn, Colwall (great views from the beer garden); Prince of Wales, Ledbury(very old pub) and Feather's Hotel (pop in for a drink after some serious retail therapy)

The Malvern Hills
Without doubt, heading for the hills is an absolute must for any visitor to the area. The Malvern Hills are 7 miles long in total and when you reach the top, you’ll enjoy glorious views out the Welsh Mountains looking West, Shropshire Hills looking North, Cotswolds looking East and Bristol channel looking South. Elgar found his inspiration walking these hills, and we are sure you won’t be disappointed.
It’s very popular all year round with walkers and cyclists. Top tip is to explore walks mid way up the hill on busier days to avoid the crowds, or on windier days.
More adventurous walkers take a day to do the ‘end-to-end’. There is also paved path to the top of the highest point (Worcestershire Beacon) making it accessible to prams and wheelchairs. All terrain mobility scooters can be hired from Café H20, making the summit accessible to all. http://www.geocentre.co.uk/tramper
