This is my go to mall, you'll certainly get all you need here. There's several clothing stores (LC Waikiki for quality and affordable clothing, Woolworths -midrange to high end formal clothes, and MR Price are the main ones I'd recommend and oh baby shop is my favourite for shopping for the little one). There Java cafe on the ground floor, Nescafe on the first and food court on the 3rd floor with mostly Indian and Swahili food. There's enough ATMs for your banking needs and a forex too.

Sightseeing

This is the largest forest / green space within the city, you can go for a guided hike here (I've done a 6 hour hike from one end to the other) , there's a waterfall within the forest and some wildlife like monkeys. You can go cycling here, there are rented bikes available

Great for first time visitors to Nairobi. You'll get to see a wide variety of animals in one place , ideal even if you only have a short time to go sightseeing. Families will find this a good experience.

Amazing park in the heart of Nairobi, an early morning or evening game drive is highly recommended. Quite an exciting experience to see wildlife in their natural habitat. This is a good place to visit as a group, with family and even as a solo traveller as part of organised tours

交通アクセス

Cabs are the ideal way to move about, its mostly affordable

Digital cabs - I recommend Little Cab which is a Kenyan company ; of the cabs available they offer the best service. Bolt and Uber are widely used , although service can be disappointing at times e.g driver cancels with dodgy reasons therefore delaying you. There's one non digital cable I've used for year, professional old man based in Westlands, you can contact me about his details if you prefer this cabbie
風習と文化

Kenyans are very friendly and helpful

Incase you need info / directions Kenyans are welcoming and helpful. As with any other big city you will find some crafty people who'd want to take advantage of people not familiar with the city. Ask for assistance at reliable places i.e. guards at buildings (in uniform), supermarket assistants or attendants in recognised malls
必要な持ち物

Nairobi has good weather but rainy season can be disruptive

Pack some warm clothes (nights can get quite cold) , check whether the rainy season has begun , you may want to pack an umbrella/rain coat and rainboots
