You probably already know about most of the top Seattle attractions, such as the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, etc. Here is a list of some of our other favorite area attractions that you may not know about.
Staying in West Seattle, Alki Beach is a must see! See stunning views of Puget Sound and the Seattle skyline from the beach. There is bike, kayak and stand-up paddle board rental in the area. The neighborhood also hosts a variety of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops with beach views. Our favorite Alki Beach area restaurant is Marination Ma Kai. There is a menu included in this book.

Snoqualmie Falls
6501 Railroad AveIt's a little bit of a drive, but well worth it. It is 34 miles from here. The falls are breathtaking and there is a nice, short hike to the lower viewing deck. The hike itself is nice, and a great way to have a Pacific Northwest hiking experience that won’t take up too much time.
A random, quirky sculpture that lives under the Fremont Bridge in the Fremont neighborhood. Explore the Fremont neighborhood and look for the strangely placed historic Lenin statue too while you are there.

Take a Ferry Ride! Seattle is known for its ferry’s. It is a fun way to view Seattle and Puget Sound. You can drive your car onto the ferry, which is a fun experience for children and adults alike. You can also walk on to the ferries. Walking on is cheaper, but then more difficult to get around once you reach your destination. For a convenient and fun Seattle ferry experience we recommend the Bainbridge ferry. The ride is not too long, and once you reach Bainbridge Island there are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore near the ferry terminal. You will also get a stunning view of the Seattle skyline as you depart and return to port.
