There are lots of places locally to eat including 4 pubs in the village less than 1 mile away.
There is a guide book available in the sitting room if you need more details on places to eat and drink.
Being on the edge of the Norfolk Broads there are lots of great outdoor experiences on offer nearby including; walking, sailing, boat trips, cycling routes, National trust properties and wildlife conservation areas.
Norwich has excellent shops and entertainments and places of historical interest.
Further to the north is the Norfolk coast with great places to visit including; Sheringham, Cromer, Wells, Blakeney and Holkham.
Wroxham is 3 miles away and is great for gaining access to the water including boat trips and hire.
A proper locals pub with good beer but not now doing food of any kind. We hope this is only temporary..

This is a great, thatched pub attached to the local brewery so the beer is excellent. Food is the usual pub fayre but it has been one of our favourites for over 30 years.
