3 of our favorite and local favorite Mexican restaurants not far from townhouse. The original El Chaparral started in Helotes, TX (NW) & the original Rosario's is downtown. El Bucanero started in our area.

Great seafood mexican style. You will hear a lot of spanish spoken here. This 2 restaurants started in our area & are not only about 5 miles from each other. Expect waiting on weekends.

Quick Bites, Very close-by
Down the street from Budding are 2 restaurants we have used for quick bites. Go west on Budding turn left on Jones Maltsberger at gas station; after the new carwash you will see a small shopping center with several restaurants. We have eaten at Tacos & Salsa and Kogi Steet (Korean Fusion). Others fast food restaurants in area of Jones M. & Starcrest are: Subway, McDonalds, Bayseas Catfish, & Ed likes AJ's Bar & Grill.
