A five minute walk from the villa up Ann St, (a little steep but good cardio for your heart : ) you'll find this vibrant little cafe. Well worth the trip! The food, cakes and coffee's are outstanding. Very popular so get there early ... 12pm is a peak time!

Always go here when I'm in town and need a sit down : ) The coffee, food and service is terrific! Great seating and ambience about the place AND always plenty of newspapers to read.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here and Wow! Plenty of it too! Not a place to go if you want a light meal and the deserts mmmmmm! The staff are very helpful and the food tasty. Probably worth booking a table in advance, gets very busy!

Cataract Gorge offers the longest single span chairlift in the world, along with swimming pool, restaurant, cafe, suspension bridge, peacocks and wildlife. Great walking and hiking trails with some amazing panoramic views! Lovely place for a picnic and time-out surrounded by beautiful gardens.

West Tamar HighwayI love this place! We've walked out to the island many times, at low tide and high tide. Taken a picnic but there are bbq's available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You'll see plenty of wildlife, stick to the walkway as there are snakes all around!

Loads of information about our Aboriginal past and plenty for the children to get involved in! Free entry with a great cafe offering tasty food. The staff are friendly and approachable. The Planetarium is well worth the price of a ticket! You wont be sorry you made the effort to visit : )

Expect to spend some quality time here! Preferable to the Hobart Museum : )
