An egg coffee (Vietnamese: Cà phê trứng) is a Vietnamese drink which is traditionally prepared with egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk and robusta coffee. The drink is made by beating egg yolks with sugar and coffee, then extracting the coffee into the half of the cup, followed by a similar amount of egg cream,[clarification needed] which is prepared by heating and beating the yolks. Vietnamese Egg Coffee is generally attributed to a bartender working at the Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel in Hanoi in 1946.The legend goes that fresh milk was in short supply and so whisked egg yolk was used as a replacement. Drinks & Nightlife

A small pub with lively and romantic music every weekend. This pub was born since the US and Vietnam resumed normal relations in 1995. It was almost the first pub of Hanoi since the renovation. This is the place I occasionally go to talk to friends. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g293924-d4931772-Reviews-Polite_Co-Hanoi.html
