This is the gateway to Hurricane Ridge which sounds scarier than it is. Park headquarters is just down 8th Street then right on Race Street (south). Entrance fees are good for 7 days unless you have a National Park annual pass. This is a must do in the area.

If you time your hike right, you can hike out to the lighthouse with about 5 miles of walking each way. This is a romantic place to think about life and enjoy the company of loved ones.

The road and bridge here is currently closed (August 2017) but it will open again soon so please check the Olympic National Park website for the latest access information. The last time I was here, it took about 30 minutes of paved driving with a two mile walk to get to the actual springs. Clothing optional.
