I would recommend stopping by Shorehouse Kitchen for the best brunch and coffee in San Diego. Also located in the heart of La Jolla Shores so you can grab some ice cream and walk along the very scenic beach.

If you want a scenic beach, I would recommend going to La Jolla Cove. La Jolla Cove is such a scenic view and lots of nearby boutiques, restaurants, desserts, and galleries. You can also take selfies with seal lions sun bathing or even swim with them.

La Jolla Shores is where you go if you want to go kayaking or paddle boarding. They also have great restaurants and desserts. If your stay is between July and August, you can swim with the many leopard sharks right on the shore, during their largest annual aggregation in the world.

If the beach is not your scene, you can stroll by Balboa Park. Check out their many gardens, detailed architecture, museums, or local musicians and artists. It never disappoints, and inside Balboa Park is the San Diego Zoo.

If you want a nude beach... This beach also comes with a great hiking trail with secret, small waterfalls. Walk up the trail to catch an amazing view of the beach with parachuters in the sky. Right near UCSD.

I really enjoy Altitude Sky Lounge, a rooftop bar with a view of all of Downtown San Diego and into the Petco Park baseball stadium. A must stop for anyone new to San Diego.

I would recommend Parc and Rec, an outdoor bar with live music. There is room to dance, but also room to walk around and talk.
