Located at the sea front in Mapua Holiday Park. Just walk or drive straight to the end. Sits right on the water. Beautiful food for lunch or dinner. Although the kids have lots of fun playing on the beach and at the playwark in the holiday park, there are no food options for kids on the menu. Can order a bowl of fries or a tapa if they like foods a little on the unusual side.

This place has won best restaurant in NZ for two years. The food is nice, service is good. Outdoor dining area is fantastic. Make sure you go on a warm day and you generally need to book. They have a great kids menu, play area, and kids can feed the eels. Not open in the evening. Located 7minutes drive from Mapua heading out past Ruby Bay. If you are feeling ambitious you could hire a bike from the wharf and bike on the bike track. They use organic produce and have compost toilets so if that's not your thing, perhaps go first, but don't miss this place out.

The place turns into a theatre at night so keep your eyes peeled for shows they have on. They do offer a shuttle from mapua, but must be pre-booked, and only available if they can spare the staff.
Located on the wharf. They say this has the best fish n chips around. No burgers though. You can purchase food from here and take to the outside eating at the Golden Beer and the Rimu Bar. A real treat after you have had a couple.

Everything you need. Most basic items are an ok price. I wouldn't bother driving to a large supermarket unless you buying for over a week. Fruit & Veges are fresher and better price down at the country store. Post mail, sells, wine, beer also.

Kids love it as well. This place is also great during the day which is when we more often than not frequent it.
Makes one of the top 100 Chardonnays in the World. - Take a picnic, or buy some cheese and crackers on site. sit in the beautiful yard of the winery and enjoy a bottle of the best.
