The inner park directly on campus. On a hot summer day you will have a hard time finding a vacant spot as it is a very popular place for the students to hang out.

The entire Mols Bjerge National Park is just a must see - extremely beautiful and unique landscape and many viewpoints...
Located in the Mols Bjerge National Park this light house is also unique at a unique position. Can be windy. In the summer season there is a cafe where you can buy an ice cream or a cup of coffee to enjoy on the pebbled beach. The waters is not really suitable for swimming but the place is beautiful anyway.

Very nice - can be cold as it is to the east.
Caution:
Beware of possible semi-strong undertow for the young ones and the wind blow away from the coast on most days - no rubber boats and no children swimming alone. On windy days with the wind blowing towards the beach it can be very fun as the waves can grow large enough to throw a grown man over.
If you take proper care you can reach 1st, 2nd and maybe even 3rd sandbanks and still stand on your feet when on the banks. But again - do not try this with younger children.
Boeslum Strand - Djursland
Very nice - can be cold as it is to the east.
Caution:
Beware of possible semi-strong undertow for the young ones and the wind blow away from the coast on most days - no rubber boats and no children swimming alone. On windy days with the wind blowing towards the beach it can be very fun as the waves can grow large enough to throw a grown man over.
If you take proper care you can reach 1st, 2nd and maybe even 3rd sandbanks and still stand on your feet when on the banks. But again - do not try this with younger children.

The National Park which is an absolute must see while you are here.
Just a hill, but a beautiful one and a nice opportunity to enjoy a sandwich on the pebbled beach on a sunny day.

One of the highest natural points in Denmark with its measly 148 meters above sealevel ;-) There is a tower and a very nice view from the top of it. You can hike the trail to the bottom and experience firsthand that Denmark is not really that flat after all...
