You can take the funicular ”Fløibanen” (which is only a 10 minutes walk from the house) to the top of mount Fløyen (320 metres above sealevel). From the top you can enjoy a spectacular view of Bergen. On the top you can go hiking or eat at the resturant (open from 10am to 10pm). 10 min walk from the house:

Ulriken is another of the mountains surrounding Bergen (660moh). Just as at mount Fløyen you can take the ”Ulriksbanen” to the top for a panoramic view.
