Your local cafe. People RAVE about their Curries /Pies / Salads. My fav lunch is there Vietnamese Salad :). Friends buy the curries from the fridge and make dinner at home. All Homemade. YUM

HEAVEN! Rainforest restaurant in the centre of town! Canopy Bar for a drink. Ask for a table on the Forest Deck (our fav) and prepare to be amazed with food and service...Very special.

Our other fav lunch destination. Devine location, after lunch walk down the bush steps to the beach - postcard perfect, hammocks in trees, swaying palms - devine. One of our fav beaches up here.

Excellent place for Breakfast/Brunch and to watch the crowd walk by. Try the "Onesie" for a light breakfast or maybe the delicious mushrooms, feta w truffle oil on toast. YUM!

Daintree rainforest - 20 min drive. If you cant do a full day tour, drive here and take an Aboriginal Tour to the crystal clear water holes / forest. Nature at its best. Cafe and giftshop. Must do!

Drive (or walk) up Island Point Road all the way to the lookout and get a great view looking south down 4 mile beach. This lookout faces East so great for a sunrise photo :-)

For those who are short on time these quick cruises are great. For those who get sea sick, this is perfect also. KIDS will LOVE this cruise, we often did the Sunset Cruise when our kids were little and they could spot a croc and steer the paddle steamer :) Great service also.
