Peets is one of the original coffee houses. Peets has been my favorite coffee place and the original is still in Berkeley, at Walnut and Vine. Since 1966! Alfred Peet supplied the three founders of Starbucks, with coffee in 1971. Native that I am, I stick to Peets as my coffee of choice!

J. Lohr has free wine tasting daily from 10:00 to 5:00. You just don't find free wine tasting often! Great wine, fun time tasting.

The movie about Sarah Winchester was released in 2017, "Winchester" loosely based on the story. I highly recommend fitting the tour in your visit if you have time. A must see, in my book! Just 2 1/2 Miles from my home. Briefly Sarah was the widow of the inventor of the Winchester rifle. The mansion has 160 rooms and the tour takes you through 110 of the rooms. She was quite superstitious and believed she needed to keep building rooms so as to throw off the ghosts that come to haunt her. MUST SEE!
