Sooo not a Starbucks fan (especially given that there are a ton of excellent coffee shops in Seattle), but this particular location (I hate to say it) is a must see. The design is beautiful. Ugh.

A beautiful 48 acre park 1/2 a block from home. Walk, bike, jog. Picnic. Explore the Asian Art museum. Climb the water tower. Roam the botanical garden. People watch. Lots to see and do. Lovely.

Great little patch of a park for sitting and thinking. Gorgeous view of the lake, boats, mountains. We've taken a thermos of coffee, a blanket to wrap up in and just watched the sun come up. Serenity.
