WOW. One of my favourite places to visit. Have afternoon tea at the Inn on the Lake and then grab the steamer and go around the Lake and take in the breath-taking scenery.

Keswick Launch offers a wonderful trip around Derwentwater and there are lots of places to stop off on route and visit for walking or a meal. You can hire canoes and kayaks here very easily.

A walk around Keswick Lake is one I really enjoy.
It is about 10 miles long but a nice easy one with many stops for food and drinks along the way!

A walk around Buttermere Lake is a must if you like stunning scenery and wildlife. I always finish off with a bite to eat in Buttermere itself before I go home! There are 3 pubs/cafes to chooses from in the centre.
