Henk's is a wonderful brunch location. Think cute, old time diner. I do believe they stop serving brunch at 10am though; so get up early and make sure you do not miss it. Great quantity, price and taste of food.

This is a very popular place in Dallas to get your walk or run on. I have found the best place to park is on Buena Vista Street, Dallas, TX 75205. Well paved and mostly shaded path.

This is my favorite location in Dallas to run. It is 9.3 miles around the lake-a new sight at every turn. White Rock Lake is also a great place to go for an easy stroll or even a kayaking adventure. (They rent kayaks at the lake- highly recommended.) White Rock also has a dog park, multiple play grounds, and numerous places to host barbecues. Often, if the season is right, White Rock will have concerts in the park.
