Rifugio 5 Laghi

Wake up in the mountains, in the dolomites. 5 hours walk, the last part steep but not extreme. Enjoy the path from the village via the Rifugio Casinei, Rifugio Brentei (you can stop in both places for a drink or to rest) and finally a last 1 hour steep path up to Rifugio Alimonta. There you can either stop for a drink/sandwich and get back down or call the Rifugio and book a shared room and enjoy the evening, the views, the people. You will have a simple dinner and go to bed early as the next morning climbers will already leave at 5-6pm while you can have breakfast and enjoy the sunrise and magnificient views before getting back to the village.

Getting Around

Nearest BUS STOP! At this bus station you will find buses that either take you south, direction Trento or Brescia, or north direction Dimaro and Bolzano. You can buy tickets directly in the bis or at the newspaper/tobacco shop in the center of the village. There you can also find the timetables.
