Taingy is a lovely little village 10 minutes from the gite. NOt to miss is the superb panoramic view which includes the village itself. A great place for a picnic or breakfast al fresco!

One of our favourite places near the gite, Druyes is a beautiful French village hidden away in a green valley with its delightful pond and park. There are lovely views of the river and a visit to the upper village with its chateau and views are not to be missed! Another wonderful place for a picnic although the village also offers a few decent restaurants ...

A superb chateau set in a charming little French town. Th e grounds of the chateau hosts the famous and very popular 'spectacles' shows with numerous local actors and animals retracing the history of the chateau during the summer. Not to be missed!
