It's our go-to place for celebrations. We love taking out of town friends here for a special meal that is always prepared fresh and never disappoints our taste buds! There are few places that you can go and just trust the waiter or waitress to make a suggestion and know you'll love whatever they suggest. BC Bistro is one of those places! My favorites are the BBQ Burger, Balsamic Chicken & Bread Pudding with ice cream for dessert! Note: This place is closer to the airport, maybe 12-ish min drive north from our home.

Do you like disc golf? What about scenic views? This great 18 hole course offers both. It's within walking distance of our home and offers an amazing view of the KC skyline.

This sprawling park is great to go for a long walk, to play tennis or pickleball or let your kiddos run loose at the two playgrounds or in a big open green space. Macken Park is about a 4-5 minute drive from our home!

EH Young Riverfront Park is a hidden gem located just past the Argosy Casino. Whether you've got older kiddos that like adventures or you want somewhere you can ride your bikes without the worries of traffic, this is your place! The play area is large, has diverse play options & 3-story slides & a 50+ foot zipline! There's also a Riverfront trail that you can walk just above the Missouri River.

The Bott House is located right across the street from our home. It's truly a work of art and our neighbors have preserved the original furnishings from the home. While it's not open to the public (as someone actually lives there), you might encounter our friendly neighbor one day, so feel free to say hi. They love to talk about the historic home!
