Sightseeing
A trip to San Diego would not be complete without a stroll down our promenade (Prado). Our favorite highlights are the Lily Pond, the Fleet Science Center, Japanese Garden and of course the San Diego Zoo. There are multiple other museums and sites. We recommend getting some tea from Cafe Bassam and walking across the Cabrillo Bridge for peaceful stroll. If you are dining in the area, we recommend the Prado, Mr A's (for he view!) or checkout one of the many other eateries in nearby eclectic North Park.

Take a stroll along the La Jolla Cove walkway. Feel the waves crash and watch the sea lions play. The grassy areas are perfect place to catch a romantic sunset, bring a blanket and make it a picnic. Walk from the cove to Shell Beach to play in our favorite spot. If you are in the mood for a taco we highly recommend the Taco Stand in La Jolla! Be prepared to wait in line but it’s worth it!

The grassy areas are perfect place to catch a romantic sunset, bring a blanket and make it a picnic. Walk from the cove to Shell Beach to play in our favorite spot. If you are in the mood for a taco we highly recommend the Taco Stand in La Jolla! Be prepared to wait in line but it’s worth it!

Mariner's Basin in Mission Bay is one of our favorite destinations due to the calm water nearby parks and peacefulness.
You can drive there, but our favorite way to get there is by Kayak, which can be rented at Aqua Adventures. They have tandem kayaks for $26/2 Hours and a number of other watercraft for rent. Recommend reserving in advance.
