Beautiful, giant, old oak trees. A golf course. A track for strolling, running, bikes, etc. Across the avenue from the universities. Audubon Zoo is also attached. Worth making a day out of the visit.

It's THE National WWII Museum. It seems they are constantly expanding so even if you've been before, it's probably worth another trip.

I selected sightseeing because the hotel lobby is so beautiful. That being said there are several notable bars and restaurants and sometimes music here. If you're around at Christmas time, it has a quite famous display that all New Orleanians will make a pilgrimage to every December.

I know there are several drag brunch options out there but this is The Original. The interiors of this place are so beautiful they will take your breath away. Locally renowned chefs are putting out food you will tell everyone about. Classic cocktails served in a super fun atmosphere. Plus, there's a pool and cabana bar! *no kiddos allowed here.

旅行者へのアドバイス

交通アクセス
Lots of options!
United Cab is a great local option. There's an app! Uber/Lyft are always available. Buses are plentiful and inexpensive. Check out the GoMobile app. Streetcar on St. Charles Ave is a must do. Not necessarily as your main mode of transport but for the experience. It can be a good option to the FQ depending on how many people are in town.
役立つフレーズ
If someone says "I know where you got dem shoes.."
Just smile and keep walking. They're going to say you got them on your feet but this is an old trick that will then lead to hassling you for a tip. My advice: Don't engage.
