Feast 316 is located just off the main strip in downtown Camas. This quaint spot is perfect for a date night or hit up the happy hour for amazing burgers and drink specials. Every single entree I have had here has been delightful. They are serving up local and fresh food ranging from fish and chips, filet mignon and seafood. Oh and the bread pudding... out of this world! Feast 316 also has one of the best liquor and wine selections in the downtown Camas area.

HUB started out in Portland and finally opened in Vancouver a couple of years ago, can I tell you how happy we were? This is the first eco-brewpub in the Portland area and since day 1 at HUB they made every effort to create world-class beer and food with sustainable business practices that protect our environment and support our community. Whenever possible, they source organic malts and local, organic, and Salmon-Safe hops for our beers. They also donate 1% of beer sales to environmental organizations that focus their efforts on forests, bikes, and water. With all that said, they are serving up some quality, locally sourced pub grub. From burgers, chicken strips to pizza and salads. This is the BEST kid friendly restaurant in town. Where else can you go have a beer and converse with your partner because your kids are playing in the kid area? Yup, there is a kids play area! And for those without kids, there is a kid free zone on the other side. Win-win!

This is our go to for take out Thai Food. Decent, not earth shattering, but it's better than the downtown Thai spots. We particularly like the fresh rolls, panang curry and pad thai. A short drive from the Forest Suite.

Craving Thai Food and want to sit in a restaurant? This is our go-to, I even prefer to go here over some places in Portland! Super delicious Thai offerings and pleasant wait staff. They also have a solid take out business, so feel free to call in the order. Also, this is in a strip mall, weird I know, but hey, it's not Portland.

Our other go-to Brick Oven Pizza place in Vancouver. Rally Pizza is a fun, casual, modern pizza restaurant with local ingredient-driven salads and small plates, five rotating WA/OR beer taps, Italian- and PNW-leaning wine list. Delicious made-to-order frozen custard desserts will blow your mind! Highly recommend a visit here! The chef used to work for Kens Artisan in Portland, so you know it's good!

It’s a casual upscale grill. They have a Gaucho wood-fired grill. Everything is cooked over an open flame on wood — either cherry or alder wood. The Gaucho grill has pulleys and roller wheels that allow you to increase or decrease the height based on the intensity of the coals. The Hammond has a good mix of pasta, chicken, fresh seafood offerings. Steaks are choice prime beef. Burgers are a brisket and chuck blend. They also serve delicious brick oven pizzas. And source local, sustainable when possible.

Little Conejo is a taco shop located in downtown Vancouver, WA. Only the freshest ingredients are used for food and beverage. They grind organic, Mexican corn daily to produce their own mas, which is the secret to their fresh, handmade tortillas. All of their meat and seafood is responsibly raised and sourced. The chef and Co-owner Mark Wooten partners with a farm, Phantom Rabbit. Their farm is the main source for produce during the spring, summer, and fall. The bar is stocked with over 80 different mezcales. Freshly pressed citrus and handmade syrups are prepared daily for margaritas and cocktails. They also offer agave flights, beer & wine. Go here!

Stylish eatery offering carefully sourced American fare with a focus on local, seasonal ingredients. We have gone for brunch and loved every single thing! Definitely worth a trip for brunch and isn't often crowded at this time. For dinner, now that is a whole different story, typically crowded, but de-lish!

One of my all time favorite brunch spots. This classic Nordic fare with ableskivers, egg skillets, Swedish hash and more will blow your mind. There are lines for brunch, yup, big lines and this place is no exception. However they do give you free coffee should you have to wait and I always recommend eating a pre-brunch snack ;)

Adored by locals“, this ”classic“ in the Northwest District (circa 1903), purportedly bearer of the first liquor license in the state after Prohibition, is ”always crowded“ thanks to its ”reasonably priced“ American ”comfort food galore“, emphasizing local and organic products, and popular weekend brunch; service is ”wonderful“, and fans insist it's ”worth the wait, and there's always a wait“ in the ”old-time" setting with a polished mahogany bar.

There is a new, permanent bright spot punching through the clouds, and it's the brunch at HunnyMilk. Serving warm comfort food with a picture-perfect backdrop—imagine Grandma's biscuits and gravy, but more aesthetically pleasing—all HunnyMilk does is brunch, but it does it well. Originally a weekend-only pop-up inside La Buca, the restaurant's new brick-and-mortar location has a lounge and expansive dining area. It boasts white and blue decor and delicious Tangerine Mimosas. Must Eat Spots in Portland
There are some quintessential places to eat in Portland and we have created a short list of those for you. In case you didn't know, Portland takes their food very seriously! It can definitely turn a bit Portlandia on you, but we take pride in that :) Ask your server where the food came from, and most likely they will know.
Chef Joshua McFadden is Portland’s “vegetable whisperer.” That’s no small accolade in a town where vegans roam free and farm-to-table is table stakes for most high-end restaurants. Tusk, his Middle Eastern–inflected restaurant on Burnside Street, turns out small plates under the watchful eye of his business partner, chef Sam Smith. Each dish is near reverent of its ingredients, with “Vegetables, Fruits, Grains” literally at the center of the printed dinner menu. The bright space even makes the wait for a table a pleasant experience and one well worth the time it takes for the chance to taste the creations of one of Portland’s premier chefs.

Flagship restaurant of John Gorham, featuring ”innovative, attractive“ Spanish tapas at moderate prices; the ”well-deserved popularity“ means diners should ”be prepared to wait“, but a ”friendly, professional“ staff and elevated drinks such as sangria help take the edge off the sometimes noisy dining room. Since opening in 2007, Toro Bravo has had a wait for dinner every night of the week. This small, Inner Northeast Spanish restaurant serves a long list of traditional dishes, from single bites of bacon wrapped dates to larger dishes like lamb chops a la plancha.

Make a reservation for this place ASAP. This is hands down one of my all time favorite places to go in Portland. Also owned by the same team as Tusk, mills their own flour on-site for their five daily pastas, each of which are great and worth trying if you eat here with a group. Along with a few pastas, make sure to get some giardini and antipasti to start. If you go to Ava Gene’s on a date, which you totally should, and want to try even more of the menu, go for the family-style option instead, which includes a customized menu for $75 per person. Also, if you’re into wine, Ava Gene’s has one of the longest lists in Portland, and if you’re not, they have great cocktails too. BIG thumbs up!

Beast is the Killingsworth fine-dining restaurant by Naomi Pomeroy, the 2014 James Beard Best Chef Northwest recipient, and like many Portland greats, it shows how a love for DIY everything can transform a tiny dining room into something stunning, in this case, culinary theater. Chef Troy MacLarty directs an edible journey through India where the MO is casual, and the format (counter orders, bus your own dishes) keeps prices affordable. Classic thali platters—sambar, raita, dal, saffron rice, curry, and paratha. But the kitchen excels at Mumbai street snacks (bhel puri, dahi papri chaat), seasonal vegetable sides, and Goan-style pork vindaloo that tastes like barbecue from another planet. You polish it off with animal sounds and sweet, buttery, rolls. This place is so good!

Nong’s Khao Man Gai started off as a simple food truck that served Thai-style chicken and rice, which very quickly became a local lunch favorite. The original cart is still around downtown, but the Southeast brick-and-mortar location serves fun cocktails and additional dishes, like pork and rice and tofu in peanut sauce, along with the classic. It's all in the name and it speaks volume. There is cheese and there are "crack"ers. They are made to order and displayed on the cutest, metal school style tray. They also have the best soft serve in town! A low key afternoon spent here is totally fun when you are in the Southeast of Portland.
Can you say delicious pasta for less than $12? Yes you can and you can find it here! You will find meticulously crafted bowls of fresh pasta on the fly, paired with traditional and seasonal salads, delicious appetizers and tasty cocktails. The brainchild of Lardo kingpin, Rick Gencarelli, Grassa pushes the concept of artisan comfort food slung in a no-frills fashion. You can also grab a Mexican coke to knock back your pasta. Yum!

Best Sandwiches. Period. Lardo in downtown Portland is a great quick lunch spot and serves some of the best sandwiches in the city, along with a rotating list of local beers.

Small outpost drawing crowds for tacos & other Mexican basics made with a nod to sustainability. This place is so good and so affordable! Order at the counter and grab a seat (someone will soon get up :).

This is Portland's Pride and Joy. Claims to be the largest independent book and resell store (the Strand in NYC might have a different viewpoint, but it's huge!). It is a must visit when in Portland.

I might be a little biased as I was a Prop Stylist and marketing team member of this place for almost 5 years, but they do things right. This lighting and lifestyle company focuses on heirloom quality and American manufacturing. This store provides hours of nooks and crannies to explore.
