Drinks & Nightlife

Reminiscent of a German beer hall, you can enjoy some tasty wheat beer while choosing from a wide range of rare sausage meats like guinea hen, wild boar, kangaroo and more!

Excellent Gastropub. If you are a beer drinker try the Blood Brothers IPA and a cocktail enthusiast will love their selection as well. There may be a secret entrance...

Food Scene

The Thompson Diner (not hotel): Open till 3AM every night, a great place to walk to and pick from their smorgasbord selection of late night meals. If you end up there for their late night menu, try the All-Star loaded fries, or truffle mac and cheese. They take the standard and add a refined twist.

Parisian styled, great place to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day. For brunch, the Eggs Benedict and goat cheese omelettes are my favorite.

Sightseeing

Right on Toronto's waterfront, the music garden hosts free concerts every Thursday and Sunday night. It contains beautiful hidden corners with an amazing variety of plant species. Beautiful all year round, but it reaches its maximum splendor in mid to late summer. Good for peace and quiet.
