Great pub/restaurant in our village, which now does take away pizza.
You can drive there in a few mins, cycle or do via the river and hire a canoe (great of all ages, we took a 4 year old with us!). Food great, lots of choice, all home cooked, plenty of it and not silly money.

Lovely place to potter, famous for books, also great other independent shops and places to eat. You can even canoe to an eating pub from here and be picked up. There is a co op open until 11pm most nights.
