Local dive bar with a unique atmosphere. Serves delicious burgers-claims to be the best in town! I put them in the top 3 for sure. They have a pool table and live music on occasion. You can also order to go (even at 1 am!). Within walking distance of the house.

Great local trail system through the woods. Occasionally, the views open up to the Chugach Mountains. Good for a stroll or bike in the evening or on a nice day.
