Erpsstaðir are best known for their ice cream but they also produce the Icelandic Skyr, caraway cheese, white and wet cheese and various other dairy products which the "Cream Shop" at Erpsstaðir processes. And the cows they milk themeselves when they are in the mood.

Súgandisey is literally in our front yard or so to say. Amazing view from top of the island in every direction. Everybody has to go up there!

Kirkjufell or Church Mountain is the most photogenic mountain in Iceland and one of our biggest TV-star. It’s the arrow pointed mountain in the Game of Thrones series and you can also see it in the Secret Life of Walter Mitty. The waterfall across the street is also very beautiful.

Rauðfeldsgjá is a deep, high and narrow ravine in the cliffs south of the glacier Snæfellsjökull with a dramatic story and family tragedy attached to its name. The location is near the tiny hamlet of Arnarstapi. Seen from the road, it looks like a small crack in the berg that slid just a bit, enough for people to enter and observe.

Vatnaleið View Point. Vatnaleiðin was put into use in 2000 and it carves through amazing landscape. If you walk downwards from the View Point you can spot a hidden waterfall and get some good pictures of the unique landscape.

Berserkjahraun is a 3-4000 year old lava field named after pair of Berserkers who were murdered there according to a famous Saga. The landscape is amazing and definitely worth the drive.

Djúpalónssandur, often called the Black beach is something out of a fairytale like most of Snæfellsnes. It was used in one of the most epic scenes in Game of Thrones, S5E8 Hardhome. Good hiking trails are available.
