This small-ish restaurant features seasonal, local food and coffee. They have a selection of creative avocado toasts! It's about a 2 miles walk - you can get there almost entirely on pedestrian trails so it makes a nice destination. A good stop on your way to Porter Square or the subway to points farther away.

Great urban walking trail. Head down Michael street and enter the trail.
Turn to the right and head towards Broadway and Massachusetts Avenue (Menotomy Grill is right off the trail). Keep going and you can walk to the Alewife MBTA station and catch the Red Line!
Turn to the left and you head towards the Mystic River. You can walk up the Mystic River path to the Mystic Lakes in Medford where there is a beach.
