Wonderful Italian spot on a quiet corner of Bogard Street, just around the corner and over a couple blocks. The chef here once beat Bobby Flay in some contest or another. Anyway, it's good.

If you come to Charleston and do not allow yourself the extreme privilege of a Little Jack's Tavern Burger, you're doing it wrong. Go here. Eat this burger. Also, great drinks and a great atmosphere in a laid back but well thought out restaurant.

Hampton Park has a beautiful one mile running/biking loop with gorgeous oak trees overhead. Inside the park are beautiful old trees, flowers, and trails.

Absolutely beautiful park, all year round, right on the harbor. Feel the breezes coming off the water while sitting in the shade of incredible trees. Let your kids play on the cannons and cannon balls, while looking out across to Fort Sumter. Take a walk along the harbor wall, or just lay in the soft grass. A great spot to just slow down.
