Amazing ceviche, and a rowdy (lively/loud) clientel. Try the Fish Ceviche, "Floutas de Marlin" (Marlin Flutes), and the Tostada de Atun (Tuna tostada, with avocado, and mole dressing). Good prices, clean, fast/amazing service. Try to go between 4 and 7pm M-F or during a futbol (soccer) match for the best experience.

High class, HUGE steaks. My father-in-law said, "I can chew this steak with my eyelids!" (Its so soft!) Expensive. Date night. Served on a himalayan salt slab... with coals... on the table. A true steak experience!

Brewery, that's not a brewery... But it IS a great place to have beers, watch a game, and socialize. Always full, always lively, decent tap beer.

Arts & Culture

Anthropology Museum is MASSIVE. One of the best museums in the world... think Llouvre (Paris) or The Met (NYC). Bring your walking shoes! Only 45 MXN Pesos to enter ($3.50 USD). Start in the pre-historic wing, and go counter-clockwise through the facilities. (Thats moving forward in time). Great Mayan and indigenous artifacts. Get to know the history before seeing the main sites makes Teothijuacan and Xocalo so much better!!!

A massive castle in the center of the Chapultapec park. Site of many battles, and the the french emperor Maximilian lived there with his wife. It is now a fantastic museum, and remembrance to the Mexican soldiers who died defending, then later attacking the fortress. The street called "Paseo de la Reforma" that extends NE from the castle goes directly to "Zocalo" the city center and heart of parliament, cathedrals, and the pyramid temple in the center of town. Reforma (street) closes (half way) for pedestrians only on Sunday morning (until 2pm) so you can bike, walk, or skate between Chapultapec Castle, and the center city plaza of "Zocalo".
