Narrow roads lead you to Calstock, a pretty village situated by the side of The River Tamar. Great for walks under the viaduct. The village hall often has entertainment and good pub with food.

Caradon Hill is another close place on Bodmin Moor which is great for walking. Fabulous views for miles in every direction. Ponies and cattle roam free and steeped in history from the old tin mines.

Truro is the only city in Cornwall. It has a Cathedral and a great shopping centre which has different stores than the usual ones you find in other cities.

The Cheesewring is a great pub in Minions. It has friendly helpful staff and good food. The Cheesewring is also the name of the giant stones which sit at the top of the walk from Minions.

Liskeard is a small town built on pink lavaa rock. It has shops and coffee shops and some nice walks. Great vegetarian cafe called The Hub at The Liskerette Centre.
