If you plan to rent watercraft
If you plan to rent watercraft, it is a good idea to secure your rental ahead of your stay. The local rental businesses usually fill up pretty quickly during the summer months

Water shoes
Lake Travis is a limestone lake - so in lots of places it has a very rocky bottom, lake shoes are recommended.

Watercraft Ramps
If you decide to brig your boat or personal watercraft, as a guest you will have access to 2 boat ramps - one at Emerald point, the other at Cody Park. These ramps are close by (130 yards to Cody), but are private ramps, and you will need a guest parking pass. If you let me know ahead of time, I can secure a parking pass for you.
