Art museum with a surprisingly huge collection of works including old masters you maybe have already seen but only in books. Nice outdoor fountain area with lots of pollywogs in late spring early summer for kids. Walking trails too, and kids art area thingy.

You can hike, bike, rent boats, and swim at the State Park. There is also a nature center with kids activities.

Sightseeing
A trip to the top of the Dickson Hill Fire Tower in Grafton Lakes state park ( access from Fire Tower Road without paying park fees if you want) gives you spectacular views of the area. Google map where to park for it, its easy to miss if you are not tracking on GPS. Less than 10 min from cabin by car.

The ridge between Berlin and williamstown has an established hiking trail with great views. Starts where the ol Mt Ranier ski area used to be, way up on top of the ridge.
