50 Minutes from Shediac. Alma or Hopewell has the highest tides in the world. A nice spot to walk around , and check out the ocean floor, and beautiful views from a few easy walking trails. It is usually a lot cooler than shediac too, can be a refreshing day. But it is a bit costly , at 14$/adult and 8$/children.

Day or evening, its the of the nicest beach around, however it can get pretty crowded and it costs 17.39$ to park. It does have lifeguards, parking, food/drinks,showers, washrooms,beach volley ball, and some ball rentals too.

A little further down in the small town of Cap-ele (aprox 15 minutes, from Shediac) but usually a little less crowded than parlee beach, it also has a nice wharf, fried seafood restaurant and micro brewery (Cavok)

Fundy is a big national park located in Alma. It is 1h20 away from Shediac (scenic route), but there is lots to do here : hiking trails, view points, camping, biking, swimming, restaurants, breweries, waterfalls etc

At Point-du-Chene wharf in shediac. Not many placed around, where you can have a wonderful meal or a cold drink, right on the water! Reasonably priced, good quality, and great experience. You may have to wait in line however.

70 Pointe Du Chêne RdAt Point-du-Chene wharf in shediac. Not many placed around, where you can have a wonderful meal or a cold drink, right on the water! Reasonably priced, good quality, and great experience. You may have to wait in line however.

Biking is a great way to get around, and avoid traffic. However anything to see is within a short drive.

There is a small market, on Sunday’s in Shediac. It’s right on main street in DT . If you’re looking for some of the best local lobster, Shediac Lobster shop at 261 main street is great option.
