Arcata is on the north end of the Humboldt Bay, conveniently located for easy access to the best the redwood region has to offer! A great hub for day trips to the Redwood National and State Park, Humboldt Redwoods State park and many others. You could also spend a weekend enjoying the numerous trails, parks, beaches, restaurants and offerings within the city of Arcata. A laid back and eccentric town home to Cal Poly Humboldt with locals that love where they live and appreciate the natural wonders around them!

Redwood Park is the perfect place to get aquatinted with the redwoods! A short walk or drive from the heart of Downtown Arcata, you'll find yourself immersed in the grandeur of the redwoods. Have a picnic on the main park lawn, play on the playground or spend the day exploring the many hiking trails.
