This route is a beautiful example of the rural Vermont landscape and beautiful in every season. We love the stretch starting at the end of 66 and taking a right toward South Royalton.

We love this place!! It is twenty minutes from the cottage, but worth the drive!! Roma's is a butchery, but it also serves lunch and dinner. If you are looking to BBQ non-veggie this would be a go to for that. They do have some options for non-meat eaters if you are going for lunch.

Only a little over an hour away there is tons to do here. This makes for a great day trip. Walk along Church Street. Good food in the area and lots of cool local shops. Check out Lake Champlain Waterfront Park as well.

交通アクセス
You need a car
You will need a car to get to the cottage. It is also the most practical way to experience what Vermont has to offer. There are, however, many wonderful roads for biking and Amtrak does service out of Randolph. Heading North that train makes stops to Montpelier, Waterbury and Essex Junction.

Winter guests need snow tires!!
Guests travelling in mud season are advised to drive vehicles that are four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
