Food Scene
Probably the best Indian food in Omaha. Very delicious and reasonably priced with large portions - my wife and I can usually split a meal. Seating is limited, but they do offer take out, and outdoor seating.

California Tacos was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, and is 2 blocks away from our home. They use a fry bread-esque tortilla and it's very delicious, though we recommend the chicken. It can't compare to authentic tacos you can find in South Omaha, but they are enjoyable!

3235 California StCalifornia Tacos was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, and is 2 blocks away from our home. They use a fry bread-esque tortilla and it's very delicious, though we recommend the chicken. It can't compare to authentic tacos you can find in South Omaha, but they are enjoyable!

Our favorite brewery in town. Very warm, quiet feel to the place with their own beers on tap. They don't sell food or many cocktails, but the beers are reasonably priced and they are okay with you bringing in food from in the area to eat.

3922 Farnam StOur favorite brewery in town. Very warm, quiet feel to the place with their own beers on tap. They don't sell food or many cocktails, but the beers are reasonably priced and they are okay with you bringing in food from in the area to eat.
Tough defining Crescent Moon - they have a full service restaurant with the original Reuben recipe (it was created in Omaha). However, it's definitely a college bar feel to it, especially after 8p. They have a very extensive craft beer selection as well as a German beer bar downstairs, where you can enjoy "Das Boot" with friends, and a Belgian beer bar adjacent to the main area upstairs.

Great grocery store couple blocks from our home. Very friendly staff and their meat counter is great, because they do all the processing in-house.
